Green heron spotted by PalmerWoods and Cochran’s Crossing

I was finally able to watch one of these green herons in action. You don’t see them as often as the Tricolored herons and when you do see them they are usually all scrunched up. For the longest time I didn’t realize they had long necks.

Hard to believe it’s the same bird.

This guy wasn’t having much luck with fishing today. Mostly he paced around.

It is amazing how fast they are, I’m not sure I could’ve caught him fishing with the camera even if he did manage to catch any.
