Bryan Beach State Park

I don’t know why this is missing from the Texas State Park website but here is some basic information:

It’s in/near Freeport Texas. Take288 South as far as you can to route 36. Go south/east on 36 until you reach 1495. Go south on 1495 to 723. Take a right on 723 to 241. You’ll be on a dirt road at 723, you” be driving on the beach there after.

The beach is crowded in the nice weather, there will be cars on both sides and it cna be a tight squeeze with traffic in both directions, especially when the tide is in.

You’ll have ocean on one side and a large pond on the inside at the end of the beach.

We saw rosetta spoonbills, pipers, stilts, pelicans and several gulls the afternoon we visited in late May.
