Lots and lots of hummingbirds are everywhere. They swarm almost like insects there are so many of them. The ruby throated hummingbirds are back in The Woodlands and as always fighting and bickering.
We have a feeder we hung outside DH’s office window about a month ago. Fred just discovered it yesterday. Which means Fred spent the entire morning bouncing off the blinds and window. As usual the hummingbirds enthrall him. He can’t believe they are just inches away from him. He keeps looking at me and looking out the the window as if to say ‘can you believe this? wow! when did this happen?’
Today he changed his strategy from bouncing off the binds and glass to hiding under the window sill. I’m not sure what advantage that will give him, but he seems content.
